In coming months, best laid plans will fall asunder in the personal lives of some of our most loved characters while for others life changing decisions will be made. Plus there's a hint of romance in the air and secrets to unravel.

New faces will join the team, and old friendships will be tested, some to breaking point.

And through it all, we will continue to explore the world of emergency medicine through the heroic efforts of a team that will go to the ends of the earth to save a life, solve a medical mystery or simply make a difference to someone in their hour of need.

However, the controlled chaos of the Emergency Department may not be enough for some of the ED team...

... and so Season 2009 will see a new, fast-paced action unit joining the familiar and much loved world that is All Saints.
