Hi All,
Well, it’s been another full on week in the Bay! Colleen figured out Rach was pregnant and spilled the beans to Jack about it before Tony even had the chance to let him in on the good news. It all turned out well though-Jack was ecstatic for his dad. And I don’t think Rachel cares much if people know about the pregnancy. She went in for her first ultra-sound this week, too. It’s just a little dot on the screen! Too cute.
Belle was in the hospital AGAIN this week! Things seemed a lot more scary this time though. She said that Angelo showed up at her house and went crazy yelling at her. He even threw a chair! Belle got totally freaked out and ran into her room to get away and got bashed from behind. Aden found her just moments later and she was rushed to the hospital. Angelo keeps insisting he didn’t lay a hand on her, but he has been acting SO crazy lately-I don’t think I believe it. He’s been let off of work for the time being. Belle said when the police questioned her they kept focusing on the fact that Belle didn’t physically see Angelo hit her since her back was turned. That’s got to be so frustrating for her. It almost seemed like the police are just trying to protect one of their own.
Something fishy is going on about the development site business, too. Belle had gone in earlier to retrieve her camera and memory card from the police, and she realised that the memory card in the camera wasn’t even hers. It wasn’t the same brand she used. I guess Murray actually dropped off the real memory card in Belle’s room, but she didn’t get it.
Melody spent so much time with Mathew this week! He was having SUCH a bad influence on her, too. Nicole actually came to the rescue for Melody when she found herself in a mess. Mel was drunk and one of the guys Aden’s been doing community service with was kissing all over her. Mathew was no where to be found. Melody was still convinced Mathew was a good guy, but after she talked things over with him, she let him know that she didn’t really like him more than a friend. At least she realised that she shouldn’t be with him.
So Kirsty and Miles are back on for real now. That’s going to take me some getting used to. Don’t get me wrong-I’m so happy for Miles, and Kirsty actually. It’s just hard. I think it’s going to take me some time to be comfortable with the whole thing. I think they both understand that though.
Alf has got his hands full with Bridget these days! She actually had the nerve to lie to Alf. Nobody had seen any progress with the boat advertisements that she organised and collected money for before. Bridget kept insisting that it was the sign company’s fault, but that she’d get it all sorted out. Alf decided to take it upon himself to try and get things going, and turned out the sign company hadn’t even heard of Bridget or the order she supposedly placed. When Alf confronted Bridget about it, he was furious. And rightly so! She confessed to him though that her cancer had come back and that she needed the money to help pay for treatments. I just don’t get why she’d lie about that in the first place though. Alf was still peeved about the whole situation and Bridget actually handed the money over right then and there to Alf that she had pocketed from the signs. Alf was saying he’s pretty sure she only returned it then because she was caught in the act though. After Colleen had a few words with Alf, his anger eased up and he spoke with Bridget and sorted things out. They made a pact of “no more secrets”. I just don’t feel right about the whole thing though. I feel like something else is going on with Bridget. She just gives me an uneasy feeling sometimes. Who knows…
VJ has been acting up SO much lately! Honestly, I don’t know what to do. I feel so in over my head these days. Being a single mum is not an easy job. He just keeps complaining about everything. He’s actually with Colleen right now. We were just at the Nipper Carnival and VJ was being an absolute nightmare so Colleen offered to take him home for lunch. I hope this doesn’t drag on for awhile.
Well nothing else much new. I feel so overwhelmed with a lot of things lately. Hopefully everything can just calm down!

I just got a call from Miles saying that VJ was caught in a storm water drain!! He was following Annie and Jai when they went out for a picnic and saw it and went to have a look around it. He got lost and Jai and Annie went in to find him. They ended up having to split up but Jai found VJ and brought him out safely. But Annie’s still inside! Oh God, I hope she’s okay. I need to get down there right now to be with VJ. A bad storm is coming on now, too. This is terrible!
