Hi all,
I have some good news and some bad news about the Den. Belle and I have booked a story on the Den with the city papers to put out some positive promotion. I told them that we’ve built the centre for youth to hang out and have fun in a safe and positive environment in honour of my late husband Dan, and they loved the idea so much that they want us to do an interview with the television station as well!
It all started because Gavin, from the Coastal News slandered the Den’s name in the local paper and has now threatened an all out war with Belle and the Den after she accused him of revenge for the article he published about the reading of the "Spring Awakening". We were distraught, but Belle used her journo savvy and got us back on our feet again, but more bad news -somebody threw a rubbish bin through the window of the Coastal News saying “This is for the Den” in a note, and now I’m just hoping we can come out on top of all of this mess.
At least Miles has come out on top of all the mayhem Christine Jones was causing. That woman had the nerve to not only humiliate poor Melody in front of the P&C but then to turn on Miles and insult him and attack his teaching methods. Thank goodness the P&C saw how petty she was from this stunt and Morag was quick to point out that her unauthorized picture taking at the school was illegal, so everyone voted against her.
After Miles' case was dismissed Colleen finally stood up to Morag for being such a bully to her. Colleen’s heart is always in the right place and Morag hopefully saw that after Colleen shared her apology. Morag really had no excuse to have talked so harshly to poor Colleen; it really should have been her apologising too for her actions in the diner toward her sister. I do hope they sort things out and get on each other’s good sides; after all they are family now. I guess only time will tell...
With Love
