Is love something that you can control?
Roman has struggled with his relationship with Charlie, is it because they are not right for each other or is something else preventing him from moving forward? Charlie challenges him this week and Roman makes an insightful confession to Miles.
Do you think that he’s still in love with Martha? We’ve seen how Roman will do anything for her. He always seems to have no problem going out of his way to help Martha.
Pauline: I was devastated that Roman dumped Charlie. They were so gorgeous together. They are my favourite couple. I hope Roman realises what he's lost and finds some way to make it up to Charlie so that they can get back together.
Annon: Roman is one of the FEW character's that is mature and sensible and is not stupid or immature enough to go after Martha while she is married to Jack - he respects that.
Don't forget, he did not have any closure in his relationship with Martha when she decided to run back to the 'then' codependent Jack and assist him - she virtually left Roman with no real 'let you know where you stand.'
He moved on with his life anyway and met up with high-maintenance, co-dependent, controlling, out of control charlie. Of course he still has feelings for Martha and is respectful of her situation with Jack. It would go against his character to do otherwise.
Judging by the cliff-hanger, Jack could be dead, so naturally Roman and Martha will hook up - they have some history to lean and build on. So, he's got nothing to get over and he has moved on.
He did not primarily split with charlie because of Martha, but simply as he put ... "there comes a time when things should just happen" in regard to a relationship. He was the mature one and she was pathetically insecure, controlling and couldn't and still can't get over herself!
Christie: I think roman is a good person and should back off abit coz martha and jack are good together and roman should get back with charlie but charlie needs to stop being so rude and self centered and show some gratitude for all roman has done for her romans a good person and I like him!!!!!
Obviously, Martha’s a married gal these days and happy with her relationship with Jack. What does Roman need to do in this situation? If he has feelings for Martha should he tell her? What do you think Martha would think if he did? Does Roman need to back off since Martha’s married now? Is it actually possible to control who you are in love with?

Andrea:I Think Roman should defenitely back off' it would just be plain stupid' everyone knows that they(Jack and Martha) are meant to be together and that they are happy together PLEASE PLEASE don't make them get back together. we all (JACK AND MARTHA FANS) just want them to be happy forever' they love each other' JACK AND MARTHA 4EVER TOGETHER!
Vicky: I think Roman needs to grow up and get over it! Martha is married to a guy who treats her loves her more than anything and treats her well. Roman wasn't even going out with her for that long. He's been in the army, lost a best friend, got a teenage daughter and been through a lot and can't get over this?! I think the whole thing is ridiculous. Charlie would have done anything for him and he blew her off. Fair enough if he just wasn't feeling it, but he shouldn't be moving on to Martha.
I like the suggestion someone had of him hooking up with Leah, they'd be a great match. And Charlie with Angelo...
Allison: I think that Roman should tell Martha and that Martha should explain her feelings that she loves Jack. I think Roman is still hooked on Martha cause of the way their relationship ended and the fact they had created a baby that was lost. I think Roman needs to be given another sweet gal with the same kindness of Martha.
Sheila: I definately think that Roman needs to back off. Roman shouldn't tell Martha that he still likes her or is still in love with her because it will ruin Jack and Martha's relationship. Martha would also find it hard to be friends with Roman. Jack and Martha are a great couple and it is about time they both deserve happiness after what they have gone through. They are the best couple on the show. JACK & MARTHA 4EVER!
Emma: Hi Home and Away! Firstly I just want to say that I am a massive Home & Away fan! One of the reason's for this is the growing storyline of Jack and Martha! It be a travesty to see them break up over Roman. I really like Roman, and he is a complete 'hottie', but I really don't want him to say anything to Jack or Martha. I think that perhaps Roman should try and distance himself from Martha, and start confiding in someone like Leah..... Definately! They are both very lonely at the moment, and I think that the two of them would be great for one another. It could be a gradual thing, as Leah would be getting over Miles, and likewise for Roman with Martha. I think that it should take them both by surprise, and it should just hit them! That would be fantastic.
Lisa: I think Martha and Jack are meant to be, they make a fantastic couple. I can see why Roman would still be in love with Martha, but he needs to move on. If he's after a dark headed and beautiful lady he would be better suited to Leah, just a thought!! Roman should not mention any of this to Jack or Martha as they are finally sorting their lives out and don't need any more complications.
Madeliene: I think Jack and Martha should stay together because I want Charlie and Roman to get back together. They were so awesome with each other- they were meant to be. It would also be really weird if Jack had and affair with Charlie and so Roman had an affair with Martha at the same time. I hope Martha get's better. I love your show and thanks for reading.
Milly: Roman should definatley back off. Jack and Martha have been through so much and they are finally happy together. Roman and Martha were cute when they were together, but she is better with Jack. If he dropped this on her it would just add to her stress. He should just leave them alone.
Sarah: I think that Martha and Jack are happy together right now and if it doesn't work out properly, then maybe Roman can make his move. But I think that if he and Martha are friends, he shouldn't ruin it by telling her. Coz the way I see it, it could ruin EVERYTHING they have and friendships are 4EVA!! I think that there will be someone else for Roman if he doesn't get his chance with Martha again!!!
Mii: i think Roman SHOULD definately BACK OFF!!!! Jack and Martha are soo happy together now, not only would he ruin their friendship but he would also make everything awkward. I know for sure Martha has no feelings for Roman because the reason they broke up was so that she and Jack could get back together. Chelsea: If Martha wasn't with Jack, I would want Roman to tell her, because they have a nice relationship and it would be nice to see it go further. Jevgenija: I really like Roman and was very upset when Martha went back to Jack. I don't know why but I just don't like him. I thought Martha and Roman are hot together. I would love for them to get back together but I know if that happens many fans of J&M will be disappointed... Big fan from Latvia.
Miranda: Roman and Charlie are SO meant to be. If Roman and Martha were together it would totally ruin the show. Jack and Martha are finally happy together and you shouldn't destroy it for them. If Roman and Charlie get back togeter they will be my fav couple on the show! they are adorable together!!!!
Hanne: I don`t think it would affect Jack and Marthas relationship at all if Roman tells her how he feels. Jack and Martha are so happy and their relationship is so strong. Martha will always love Jack and she would never choose another man over him. Jack and Martha is the best couple in Home and away history!!! They are so funny and cute together.

Shaye: This really is a hard position and alot of people have been in this situation. Roman shouldn't tell Martha that he still likes her because it would ruin everything and become awkward for everyone and Jack and Roman are quite good friends so it would be a shame for that to end. The best thing for him to do is get over his crush on him and the best way to do that i think is to like someone else . That way he will stillbe good friends with Martha and only like her as a friend.
Chelsea: I think it is a very tricky situation! You can't help who you fall for but you can't always guarantee they feel the same way and i think this is one of those situations, by telling Miles (that is, if that is what he tells him?) it's off his chest and he may feel it's easier to move on. Considering what Martha is going through and as she is happy with Jack, i dont think Roman should tell her, chances are he will get over her soon enough, but the friendship they have will suffer, if he does tell her. It would also put her in a difficult position. I really don't think Martha feels the same way she left him for Jack in the first place, he should just get over her quietly! Plus Charlie is crazy about him and they make a cute couple together!
Jasmine: Martha and Jack are a great couple together and have been through a lot. Nothing has ever gone right for them and martha and jack need to be left alone. Roman and Martha are not suitable for each other and roman should definitely forget about martha and find a new love. Martha deserves better then Roman and Jack is and will only be the love of her life. If he told martha that he still has feelings for her then it would just be awkward as she loves Jack and doesn't feel the same for Roman. The storyline would be really bad. Roman needs to find someone else or go back to charlie. I loved watching charlie and roman as a couple and hate the fact that roman lost feelings for her so quickly.. poor charlie. Charlie played by Esther Anderson is so gorgeous and needs a good looking guy to sweep her of her feet on home and away ..
Anna: I think Roman should tell her because it's not good to keep things bottled up inside. Although i think that Martha should stay with Jack and be happy because nobody can deny the love and chemistry between them. Roman should just back off and leave her alone to be with Jack, they can still be friends.
Jenna: I believe that Roman should definately back off and try it again with Charlie. Jack and Martha are really really happy and then if Roman puts another bombshell on Martha. Martha has gone through enough she is finally happy but she has cancer then Roman comes along and puts all this stress on her!!
Jenny: Roman is such a dishy guy! Much better looking than Jack in my opinion. Martha shouldnt of married Jack again. When Roman found out that Martha was having his baby he should of fought for her back. Since Martha has lost their baby I think it has made Roman feel even more for Martha. He always seems to be asking about her and making sure she is OK. Roman should definetly tell Martha how he feels about her. They would make a great couple. Jack isnt the right man for Martha - Roman is!!! Martha should fall into Romans arms and pronounce that she loves him too, telling him that she has only been waiting for him to make the first move. Jack will just have to move on without her and find someone else. Roman shouldnt back off because Martha is with Jack. If he truely loves her Roman should do everything he can to be with Martha. You cant control who you love. Roman loves Martha. Roman and Martha would make a perfect couple. They are soo cute together.
Hilary: Hi There, I actually don't think it's a tricky situation at all. Roman might have feelings for Martha but he can't act on them and there is nothing to be gained by telling her. He has to just try and move on. He can see that Jack and Martha are rock solid so he has to keep out of their marriage and not say anything.
Natasha: I personally think Roman should just back off, and not tell Martha anything. She has gone through so much these past few weeks with the cancer, losing her baby, the chemo. Its been so hard on her and Jack. And now they're finally going to be happy, Roman should be a good man and not ruin that for them. Because who knows what the writers have installed for the Jack and Martha in the near future.JACK AND MARTHA FOREVER!!
Steph: Roman needs to move on, Martha is obviously in love with Jack, Jack and Martha are soul mates, if Roman doesn't see that, then honestly .... he is pretty stupid haha. Whatever you guy's do don't break J&M up! That would be tragic I think J&M have broken up too many times!
Jenna: It's difficult to decide if Roman should tell Martha he loves her or not. On one hand he should respect the fact that she is married. But on the other hand, there has always been a great chemistry between Roman and Martha (or 'Marman') and they could make a hot couple, better than her and Jack. I would love to see them together.
Cristy: I am a HUGE fan of Home & Away and watch it every day. One of the things I like about the show is that Martha and Jack have finally got there act together and are married and moving on with there life. I think that in Roman's case, he shouldn't tell Martha how he feels, Martha is happy with Jack and he shouldnt ruin there happiness because they have come along way to be with each other, also she doesnt feel the same way about him (I am hoping) and if he does tell her it could ruin his friendship with both Martha and Jack. If Martha found out I think she would be shocked because she left her relationship with Roman to be with her ONE TRUE love which is Jack, and she would let him down lightly telling him that his friendship means alot to her but she wants to be with Jack and nobody else. To me the show is alot better with them together, because they make the best couple on the show and they have been through so much to be with each other.
